Love that last line – our theory is people bash Monsanto, because it’s a name they can easily remember, and it’s easy to spell. Now if it was Boehringer-Ingleheim that they had to use all the time, they might slow down their bashing activities a little

Rodale is one of the first organic farming “non-profits” in the U.S. Their whole agenda is anti-conventional agriculture…its just sad MSN would promote such crap from an obviously biased source.

Very interesting about the Monsanto book. I’m thankful for Monsanto and their technology – it’s hard to understand why so many people have such a negative connotation with them. Hopefully this “growing more food to feed the world” thing will help.

It depends who you ask
Kris and David work full time at Loberg Farms, their only income comes from the farm, which includes a variety of sources (grain sales, custom feeding cattle, pivot erection, etc.) Beth works at the farm, she and I both work in ag marketing, and I am a high school teacher. Nobody pays us to blog, we just want to share our story and bust some myths that float around about the industry.
